The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful. This small site offers spacious pitches and excellent facilities which were spotlessly clean and tidy, with thoughtful attention to detail. Pub serving good food and shop in the village. Within walking distance of Runswick Bay and Staithes and the Cleveland Way. We would highly recommend and will return ourselves.
“Shhhh don’t shout too much about this place I want it to myself!!!”Recently down sized the tent and we’ve gone electric hook up free!!! So completely out of our comfort zone we couldn’t have asked for a better campsite to help compensate for the lack of our usual amenities! The site is great. A campers kitchen makes life much easier, fridge, freezer, kettle and microwave! Shower block is tidy and has sockets for hairdryers and straighteners! The village has two pubs, and a butcher/local shop. The Brown Cow Inn is a must and the butchers is fab. We will be back X

Stayed for 2 nights on spec. – haven’t camped for a few years but we will regularly now and hopefully here quite a lot! Excellent facilities with friendly staff in a beautiful setting, close to anywhere you want to get to on this part of the coast. Had our Westie with us and he loved it too! Highly recommended.

Such a lovely peaceful campsite. This was our 2nd visit and we left feeling relaxed, calm and like we’d been away for weeks. The facilities are top notch with great showers and loos. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I recently spent a weekend at Serenity, and stayed in the ‘Potting Shed’. Wow, what an unbelievable campsite, one of the nicest I have ever stayed at. Owners Wes and Sarah went out of their way to make me feel welcome, and they have managed to give the site a modern feel whilst still keeping the experience authentic and true to the classic Northern surroundings. All toilets, showers and other shared facilities were immaculate and all other guests I met were really friendly, with lots of regulars and I can see why. Serenity is calm and secluded as a site, but also just a few miles from Whitby and all the other wonders of the North Yorks moors. I will be back again a few times over summer with my tent

Thank you Wes & Sarah for a wonderful first ‘glamping’ experience. I had a wonderful time just ‘being’ and I will definitely come again. Although I only live 10 miles away in Whitby it has felt like I’ve been far away….

Beautiful site! First time here. We have been to a few this week on the North Yorks Coast but you have been the best. We highly recommend a stop here. Staff have been so helpful and nice so 10/10 and many thanks. We will come again!

We are having a lovely stay at Serenity-as always. Wes & sarah always make us feel very welcome. The site continues to improve every time we visit. We’re already looking forward to our next stay!
This is the second time that we have visited this site and to be truthful it is brilliant. Handy for walking into Staithes or Runswick Bay, the village of Hinderwell has everything that you would need, fish shop, butchers, pubs and a shop and café. The site itself is really well run and immaculate including the toilet/ shower area. We will certainly be revisiting soon and will ask for the fully serviced plot they also have fantastic views. The team are all friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

We have visited this site on many occasions, it is quiet, well kept with immaculate showers and toilets, the owners can’t do enough for you and there are fantastic walks round the area. The site is in a very scenic part of North Yorkshire very close to Whitby. There is a fantastic fish and chip shop in the village and also a butcher, the site has wifi and we have yet to find anything negative about this site and will be returning in the near future. Keep up the good work guys.
We have just been for the most relaxing three day stay at Serenity. What a fabulous little gem. The site itself was immaculate as were the toilets and showers, also the owners and the wardens were
super friendly. It is ideally situated for walking, the village itself has two pubs a super Fish and Chip shop, a butchers with excellent home made pies and a general store come Post Office. We walked to Staithes, Port Mulgrave and Runswick Bay, which are all are situated on the Cleveland Way route and the views are out of this world, it’s like being in Cornwall, tiny hamlets built into the cliffs and which were rife with smugglers. Before we left we had a short walk to Port Mulgrave again and had a superb snack in the Ship Inn at Port Mulgrave (no longer a pub but they do serve ale and the most mouth watering cakes and sandwiches, also homemade lemonade). This is definitely a site that we will be visiting again and again.

Serenity Campsite. My word. What a lovely, gentle and tranquil place to stay. We were greeted by the owner and given a choice of pitches. We were pleasantly stunned by the facilities offered here. You would be crazy to not visit this place if passing through. The only negative point was that we couldn’t stay longer.

A lovely peaceful stay. Haven’t camped in years but it was so relaxing. Nothing is better than sitting outside your tent with a cuppa or a glass of wine. Friendly welcome, fabulous ducks! Thankyou.
